Therapy works best when someone feels comfortable being who they are in the therapeutic relationship. It's important to me that clients know they're seen, valued, and honored exactly as they are right now; that's what gives us a solid foundation to stretch out and do the important work in front of us.
The process of getting started can feel overwhelming. It's important to know that a first therapy session doesn't commit you to ongoing meetings. Some people find that a few "tune up" sessions are enough to change the trajectory, while some people need a longer relationship to get into the most important work. I'm here to help the process feel manageable.
