If you're reading this, I imagine you're feeling pretty stuck: stuck in negative emotions that feel inescapable, stuck in thoughts that are toxic and shaming, stuck in a cycle of behaviors that aren't working for you. In moments like this, there is no shame in reaching out for help! Hi, I'm Geoffrey, and I love working with clients struggling with faith transitions/religious deconstruction, trauma, OCD and anxiety, and relationship issues.
My therapeutic approach blends a few modalities: the non-judgment and unconditional positive regard of person-centered therapy, the skills and acceptance in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and bilateral stimulation in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma. I also use exposure-based therapy (ERP) for OCD and anxiety.
