I specialize in treating children, adolescents and couples. My initial focus is to establish a therapeutic relationship with my persons who I work with as I believe that is the foundation for effective therapy. I currently have evening appointments on a weekday in addition to weekends. I offer empathetic listening and also provide direct but therapeutic feedback and support to the individuals I work with. I strongly believe in meeting my clients where he or she is at and facilitating him or her in addressing the presenting problems.
I treat individuals who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation and behavioral difficulties. I provide therapy to person who are dual diagnosed and I also treat individuals who are struggling with life transitions and other day to day challenges. I also offer Trauma -focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Due to my utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I believe that our thoughts greatly impact our emotions and behaviors. However I also believe that individuals should feel empowered in therapy and I strive to do so in my sessions. Accepting referrals for anger management and domestic violence

Anger management
Currently accepting referrals for anger management group therapy where clients will be provided with psycho education on common, signs, triggers and cues for anger. Group members will also be taught effective coping skills that can be used to appropriately manage anger. The group focuses on teaching members about the aggression cycle and the role that it plays in reinforcing anger.

The group will focus on receiving psycho-education on the cycle of abuse, how to spot an abuser, understanding your partner's abusive mentality, the various types of abuse, the effects of violence on children and implementing a safety plan.
