In my work as a therapist I seek to create an environment that is caring and supportive while allowing us to identify opportunities for growth and healing. My approach emphasizes skill-building, increasing insight and helping you to return to a life that is balanced, healthy and productive. By co-creating a therapeutic relationship based on trust and authenticity, I assist individuals in reaching their highest potentials. It can be difficult to take that first step but when you are ready to invest in yourself, great change is possible.
I use integrated treatment approaches including but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, strengths based, trauma focused, and person centered. I have a national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as certification training in EMDR.
I currently have no evening appointments available at this time. Email is the preferred means of contact. I am also licensed in Connecticut and able to see clients living in that state as well.
