My name is Genie Lee, LMFT and I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children. My focus currently is on adults individually and in couples therapy. My approach is that each of us has the strength inside to solve whatever problems we face and I am here to help you figure it all out. I mostly work with individual adults or couples who have issues that interfere with their relationships, work, and life.
I work hard to get to know you as an individual and as a couple and find out what you want in our time together. I use mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with strength based and supportive therapy. When working with couples, I also use couples therapy, sometimes Imago Couples Therapy., This is your time and so you get to decide how we spend it.
There isn't any topic that we cannot talk about. I am gentle but will be direct and honest with you and hope that you will also. I do not judge and work hard to remain objective. I am very supportive and I focus on your strengths and give a lot of encouragement.
