I am Genevieve Wicks, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 12 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, medical conditions, grief and loss, life transitions, relationships, sexuality, domestic violence, and parenting. I completed my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Work at Providence College and my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Boston University.
My approach is warm and caring, and I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their strengths, successes, and challenges. Together, we’ll personalize your counseling experience to fit your unique needs, using a variety of evidence-based treatments. I incorporate motivational interviewing and mindfulness to explore what is working well in your life.
