About
My primary goal is to empower my adult clients. I do this by helping them understand their personal patterns, triggers, and behaviors. I customize my methods to each person's individual needs while drawing on my training and experience. I offer an empathic, judgment-free space for you to explore the issues that concern you. From this respectful, client-centered foundation, we can identify clear goals, barriers, and strategies for change. My practice is LGBTQ-affirming and BIPOC-allied.
I have extensive training and experience treating a wide range of individuals including those diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and Depression. I have specialized training and experience working with people diagnosed with PTSD and Substance Use Disorders. I am trained in a variety of interventions to treat these diagnoses.
Specific interventions I am trained in include Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (CBT-SUD), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for depression. Overall, I seek to empower each client to live a life that feels full and satisfying.
