About
Are you feeling stressed more than usual? Have you not felt like yourself? Maybe you are feeling nervous or depressed? Are you feeling the impact of COVID-19 pandemic? Mental health has a significant negative impact on our overall well-being. For me, relationship building with my clients is a foundation for our work together. Identities and relationships matter to me and so I make sure that this is central to our work together. Being courageous enough to be vulnerable can and does incite growth. With my training and your expertise about yourself, together we will make a meaningful change in your mental health and quality of life.
As a biracial (Caucasian and Black) Psychologist, I’m personally and professionally dedicated to exploring diversity issues in therapy and I am an ally. I specialize in: mood disorders, depression, grief/loss, relationship issues, racial identity formation & related concerns, spirituality/religion issues, self-harm behaviors, LGBTQ+ issues & more.
I understand the stigma surrounding mental health makes starting treatment one of the hardest part of the process. I create a safe, affirming, confidential space where you can feel able to trust the therapy process. I am also excited to show you how evidenced-based therapy can significantly improve your well-being. I hope to hear from you!
