I use an eclectic approach with a person centered mentality, I also have vast experience in family systems and systemic work. I have been in practice since 1998 treating children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Some of the treatment modalities I use in my practice are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Family Systems Theory and Supportive Therapy. I have found in my practice that using an eclectic approach allows my clients treatment to be tailored specifically to their needs. I treat clients with a variety of MH/ life-altering issues such as mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, school related issues, stress management, relationship concerns and work related issues.

“Why Now”? and “What has happened”? are the ways my first session begins with a new patient. This patient is ready to begin their story. A favorite story I often reference in my work, filled with metaphors and twists and turns, is The Wizard of Oz. At the end of the story Dorothy discovers that she has always had the power to return home to Kansas. However, the power was hidden from her and she did not know how to access or utilize it. I am not the helpful Glinda, but I do collaboratively assist my patients to define and achieve their goals by optimizing their hidden strengths and skills.

Nastassja Hanna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with five years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction within the family, relationship issues, borderline personality, self-esteem, spiritual and religious issues, and life adjustments. Nastassja completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MACMHC) at Lancaster Bible College / Capital Seminary and Graduate School.
