For more than 25 years I have helped children, adolescents, college students, adults, seniors, couples and families deal with the difficulties in their lives. Whether you are the parent of a child with school or behavior problems, a couple needing relationship counseling, a child, adolescent, or adult with depression and/or anxiety, a college student dealing with the challenges of being on your own, or a family trying to cope with the stresses of divorce, I am here to work actively with you to make the changes necessary to improve your life.

For over 15 years, I have been using a strengths-based, interpersonal approach to therapy helping clients overcome challenges and live their best, most fulfilling lives. I believe that all of us have our own unique strengths and abilities that enable us to surmount the many obstacles that we face. Through a blend of empathy, encouragement, guidance, and challenge, I strive to help my clients access their own personal resources while teaching them new skills and strategies to overcome difficulties and prevent them from feeling stuck.

We can explore your concerns at your own pace, either in my cozy, light-filled office (situated in its own building), or on the peaceful, sunny patio. Using the latest technology, we can track your symptoms and progress within weeks. Also, I have provided many children and adults with clarity and a path forward, with twenty years of experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing.

My clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves and overwhelmed with the challenging demands life presents them. Often they present as outwardly successful and are struggling internally with not feeling good enough. They tend to have histories of painful experiences and a misunderstanding of their nervous system’s needs. Despite feeling uncomfortable, they need someone who can sit and witness their pain with them. Many of my clients are individuals within the helping profession and are people going through life changes and transitions who desire to feel more grounded in their professional and personal identities.

Hello and welcome! I am a licensed professional counselor and owner of Best Life Counseling in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. I provide individual, couples, and family counseling for children, teens, and adults throughout Pennsylvania and Georgia. My clinical experience includes community settings, intensive outpatient, university counseling centers, as well as counselor training and supervision. I use a client centered approach to honor the unique backgrounds and experiences of every client. I prioritize evidence-based practices to help my clients heal and reach the goals that are important to them.
