They have many types of issues: anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem. under assertiveness, trauma, abuse, relationship problems and many more. Of course they want tools to ward off these problems. But most importantly, my ideal clients want real know-how. They want specifics, a clear roadmap that will lead them to flourish on their own.

I am a psychologist who enjoys supporting individuals and families in their everyday struggles and seasons of transition. My aim is to help others live well and reach their desired goals. Often, this involves expanding coping skills and improving relationships. I take a holistic approach to healthy living, and look closely at individual habits and behaviors. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach to individuals who would like to include spirituality or religion in their work.

For over 35 years, I have worked collaboratively with individuals and couples who are navigating life transitions and challenges in search of reduced stress, healing, and growth. Through the use of empowering, supportive, solutions-focused strategies, I specialize in personal and relationship improvement with an objective of finding resiliency, joy, and meaning in life as well as creating loving, supportive relationships. Navigating the difficult waters of divorce and supervising other therapists are areas of specialty, in addition to couples counseling, parenting coaching, and conflict management in interpersonal relationships.

I love being a counselor and a teacher. I like helping people figure out what they want from their life and how to make the changes and tap into the resources to make that happen. To learn how to create balance in every area. One of my favorite expressions is people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. The reason I became a counselor is to help make a difference one person at a time.

I specialize in ADHD/ASD evaluations, anxiety, social anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and social communication-related issues. I offer ADOS-2 for autism evaluation, exposure/ritual prevention therapy for OCD, and utilize exposure therapy as part of cognitive behavioral therapy treatment for anxiety disorders. In addition, I provide executive functioning coaching, social thinking training, and parent training.

My specialty lies in working with those who have experienced traumas, both large and small. Many times people see trauma as large life changing events and put aside the smaller things that can leave a mark. I try and explore both of these experiences with my clients, along with their relationships with others and themselves. This can cover a range of topics including, but not limited to, self-esteem, anxiety, boundaries, and self care. My goal is to create a space where clients can explore their emotions on their own timeline not mine or anyone else's.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

I believe that if we want a healthy, balanced relationship with others, we must first develop and maintain a healthy, balanced relationship with ourselves. As a Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Psychotherapist, Life Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist, I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I use an eclectic approach, individualizing each session to the specific needs of each client. In a safe, non-judgmental, supportive environment, my clients are encouraged to share openly as we work through problems and find solutions, so they can feel better about themselves, enrich their relationships and enhance their lives.

Taking the time and energy to reflect and change is difficult, and it is a privilege for me to part of that process with you! Not only is it is important to get to the core issues that are interfering with your daily functioning, but also to have someone provide understanding about these issues. I work with individuals and couples ages 14 and up. While I see many clients for many of the more common issues like anxiety, stress and depression, I specialize in working with clients recover from narcissistic abuse, working with couples, and working with people going through fertility treatments. I have extensive training in trauma therapy.

I enjoy working with clients who want to get to the root of their struggles. These clients would like to gain insight into their symptoms, something difficult that has happened to them or to explore cycles and patterns that aren’t serving them. The clients I see often have attended therapy in the past. The clients I see also often present with attachment-based traumas, symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and difficulties in their personal and work relationships.
