Working with adolescents and young adults has always been my passion. As a former school counselor, I use my knowledge of the school system in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy to guide teens throughout their educational experience. With specializations in ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and LGBTQ, I work closely with each individual client to determine goals and create a realistic long-term plan.

Our clinical areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, martial issues, codependency, self-esteem, women’s issues, substance abuse, harm reduction, grief, and transitional concerns. Through evidenced based approaches, we aim to tailor our treatment approach specific to the needs of each individual. Elizabeth uses an individualized and integrated approach to therapy that draws from psychodynamic, CBT, narrative, and mindfulness techniques. Elizabeth’s practice aims to explore what hinders you, set goals, and build skills that will allow you to flourish.

Sarah provides compassionate individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults. She works collaboratively with the aim of promoting positive change within a person’s life. She is formally trained in Collaborative Problem Solving, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Approaches.

Shira is a skilled mental health counselor supporting those in need to make positive and meaningful changes. Through a compassionate lens, she helps individuals overcome issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and relationship conflict. Shira uses client-centered counseling to increase motivation and self-empowerment. She helps individuals to reach short and long-term goals and develop healthy coping skills to continue to improve quality of life.

As a trained scientist-practitioner, Eleonora incorporates contributions of empirical research and evidence-based practice to inform her work with individuals and couples who are ready to step into the unknown in order to create positive changes in their lives. She is highly integrative in her thinking and utilize the therapeutic framework which consists of psychodynamic, cognitive/dialectical behavioral, multicultural, humanistic, and feminist theory based interventions. Eleonora is honored to bring practical experience across multiple professional settings based on her over ten years of postdoctoral clinical practice.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

Stephanie believes each person is unique in needs. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Existential Therapy and more to cater her counseling style to best accomplish therapeutic goals. Stephanie also believes the impact of culture, religion, and spirituality play a significant role in the lives of many individuals and incorporates this framework in her work. She helps her clients enhance their relationship with themselves and others and accomplish their goals through exploration of thoughts, patterns, behaviors and habits.
