Hello I am John Kenner, I am a therapist and clinical social worker. I provide active behavioral counseling and therapy. My practice consists of direct clinical service including family, individual, couples, youth, adolescents , adult and elderly therapy. I use evidence based interventions, client centered therapy and life coaching. I also provide interpersonal and relationship building tools skills and techniques.

Guided Grace Family and Youth Services takes an altruistic approach to therapy. We realize that the world has evolved and therapeutic services cannot stay the same. Our newly renovated space allows us provide an “out of the box” approach to your journey to total wellness by offering groups such as; anger management, Grief, LGBTQ, Batterers Intervention, Sensory and much more. We offer on and off site Licensed therapists, pharmacy services, and an onsite Psychiatric Services. With added programs, we provide a wraparound approach to therapeutic services.

My personal theoretical foundation is not limited to one approach. I believe it is necessary for counselors to be adaptive. Every client is different and our responses and approaches should be equally diverse. One person may need a cognitive behavioral approach whereas another would be more responsive to brief counseling. This eclectic approach will be applied to all clients. Techniques will vary between clients to best meet the individual client's needs.
