In my approach to therapy I view individuals as a complex entity. Together, we will develop a safe and non-judgmental place for self-exploration and reflection on personal values, beliefs and actions. We will work as a team to adapt and adjust behaviors and emotional responses that are no longer useful. We will create healthier and more thoughtful ways of living to support inner balance and promote personal grow.
I have received comprehensive training in evidence-based psychological practices, as well as mindfulness, DBT and expressive art therapy. I utilize trauma-informed holistic approaches in my practice, and have treated individuals experiencing a wide range of difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, and psychological trauma
I specialize in anxiety reduction, stress management and conflict resolution. Although I pivoted to a career in psychotherapy after moving to the United States, I was trained as a psychiatrist in Moscow, Russia. I received a Masters Degree in mental health counseling with a specialization in expressive art therapies from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA.
