As a first generation immigrant and a parent, I have had to navigate parenting issues in a multi-cultural society. I channeled those learnings into parenting classes for parents and social skills classes for teens. Prior to being a therapist, I worked in the hi-tech industry for several years. That exposure helped me understand the demands of corporate life, especially in the fast-paced silicon valley culture.
I have been working with teens, adults and families to re-negotiate and rediscover meaningful connections, not only with themselves but also with their relationships. I also have experience in treating anxiety, depression and life transition issues.
My goal is to provide an empathic and non-judgmental environment to enable you process your emotions and connect with who you are. Apart from English, I am fluent in south Asian languages like Hindi and Tamil.
