Hi. My name is Gayle Lewis, and I am a Licensed Social Worker. My deepest passion is to help people heal from past experiences that have hindered growth and kept them from thriving emotionally, relationally, or professionally. I do this by taking a client-centered, strengths-based approach, listening with empathy and unconditional positive regard. While prioritizing your strengths and desires, I will walk alongside of you as we together, map out a pathway forward.
With my background as a Licensed Dietitian, I have helped adult clients address some of the psychosocial aspects of weight loss including habit formation, mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and stress-management. Having received my Professional Educator's License, I specialize in supporting children with the challenges associated with ADHD and Autism.
Whatever your current family challenges are, I look forward to partnering with you. Some of the counseling modalities I use include EMDR, Trauma-Informed CBT, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Solution-focused, Aspects of Life Coaching, and Play Therapy.
