I am Gayle Emery and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a Licensed Minister located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. I retired in 2021 and I am now working part-time via telehealth after 30 years of helping clients with addictions, codependency, dual diagnoses, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy to help my clients attain their goals as we collaborate on their care.
My goals for you are to help you identify and prioritize your goals, create a treatment plan together, do periodic reviews of your progress, and work from the first day toward the day that you feel confident that you have achieved your goals.
I have my own trauma story. Pain is a great motivator and my pain got me off the couch and into counseling which turned my life around. I learned how to be responsible for my own well-being despite hurts and disappointments. I wanted to help others find the freedom I had found and live lives of purpose and passion.
