You will experience hope here. I specialize in treating trauma which is defined as an event outside daily life that would be distressing almost to anyone resulting in a life that is in a battle with the traumatic experience. Such events include sexual and physical assault, abuse, divorce, betrayal, job loss, natural disasters, being indirectly exposed to violence, life-altering diagnosis, infidelity, and there can be more. There is hope for transforming the brokenness into meaning and purpose. My clients are my #1 referral source and I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to learn more.
I am an active therapist who works with individual adults seeking help for trauma-related issues such as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety, life adjustment and relationship challenges, a damaged sense of self, the world and others. These are normal responses to trauma, however, they are not meant to define how you live your life.
Because I want to provide accessible and effective treatment, I offer a sliding scale fee and do not schedule back-to-back appointments so therapy is not rushed. My goal is for you to transcend from being defined by your traumatic experience to where it is a part of your story - not your story. I am referred to as collaborative, compassionate, committed.
