As a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist, I work to develop collaborative, supportive relationships that facilitate the change process. It is an honor to be invited into the lives of people during vulnerable difficult times. I seek to help my clients with what matters most - living in the present, engaging in activities and relationships of value, and minimizing all that distracts. I work with individuals, couples and families and treat a wide range of presenting issues including: Relationship and Family Concerns; Stress and Life Dissatisfaction; Anxiety; Depression;Trauma; Recovery after Neurological Disorders
I have worked as a mental health professional since 2003 and utilize best available research to inform treatment with my clients. Prior to working full time in private practice, I worked as a Staff Psychologist at McGuire VA Medical Center and served as faculty at VCU in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Please utilize my website to obtain additional information about my background and practice. I believe that finding a therapist who is a good fit is important. I am happy to provide a free phone consultation to give information or answer any questions you might have.
