I want to commend you for taking the first step to getting help. My name is Jasmine Elrod and I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, grief, compassion fatigue, LGBTQIA+ related issues, and marginalization.

I consider myself to be a body inclusive therapist who specializes in helping clients recover from disordered eating behaviors, weight stigma, body image concerns and impacts from diet culture. I also serve clients experiencing depression and anxiety symptoms, family issues (such as divorce & addiction), adjustment issues, impacts from COVID-19 and trauma (such as intimate partner violence & sexual assault). I currently offer individual therapy for teens and adults. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of South Carolina. I completed a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Georgia in 1979 and was licensed in 1989. I have both administrative and clinical experience in the mental health field. I have been in private practice since 1988, providing counseling services to patients of all ages. For the last ten years I am now focusing on adults and seniors. I focus on those who are trying to resolve issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, self awareness and acceptance, sexual orientation, and parenting.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in private practice in the Clemson area for over twenty years. My practice includes adults, adolescents, families, and couples. I work with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, as well as matters related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Fundamental to this is my belief that we are all individuals who affect and are affected by our families, groups of which we are a part, and the larger society. I use EMDR and other modalities to work with adults.
