As we work with younger clients, we utilize interventions in our play therapy room to provide an environment open and welcoming to the needs of everyone.
Our relational approach to therapy is to get to know who you are as a whole person by understanding who you are through your past experience, by what motivates you, and what in life has given you the opportunity to build resilience. A recognition of the inner strength displayed through your story is my refrain in the therapy room.
As we work with gay, lesbian and bisexual clients, we recognize the hetero-normative society that we often live in. It is a gift for us to offer a space where each individual and each couple is given the type of space and attention they deserve as they engage in the challenging but rewarding work of learning more about themselves and their partner.
