I enjoy working with relationship issues both gay and straight.
I am an involved counselor who provides feedback and interacts with her clients to promote total wellness. Clients may work short term or long term as we contract for what is best currently. Many clients are surprized that the process is so interactive and useful. Some take notes. My job is to help ground you as you work through your issues, providing clarity and insight. My philosophy is that the therapy belongs to the client. I have 25 years of experience in individual and marital work and am also a Divorce Mediator and a Postal Service mediator. Phone sessions available.

I provide services for adolescents, adults, families, couples, non-traditional relationships and am Lgbtqia+, kink and poly welcoming.
It is valid to feel anxious, out of control and experience feelings related to depression especially with our world in its current state. In addition you may be dealing with personal trauma, relationship issues, loss, mental illness and more. It can be difficult to find a place where you feel comfortable and safe enough to be real without fear of being judged. I want our sessions to be that place for you. I know that one size does not fit all and that everyone has their own unique experience and needs. I want to hear your story and to create a plan together that promotes well-being, healing and self-acceptance.

I am WPATH member and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
Suffering is often the result of less than nurturing relationships and experiences. Anxiety and depression can make one feel imprisoned in the body. Family & culture can dictate how safe it is, or not safe, it is to express and be yourself. My experience as a Filipino American allows me deeper connection with people navigating challenging life transitions and relating to different cultures, and new relationships. I work to empower individuals within the context of systemic injustices and complications. I provide compassion and wisdom so that you can feel fully alive and authentic in your body, your world and in your relationships.

Life is about change and transitions. Sometimes you might feel stuck in stressful situations involving relationships either at home or in the work place. I believe that most human beings welcome and value the opportunity to be listened to in a respectful and accepting way. I consider building a trusting and successful treatment relationship as the centerpiece of my work.

I hold a 3-6 Early Childhood Montessori Certification, and have specialized training for working with LGBTQIA individuals with focus on Transgender Health.
All of us develop patterns of behavior based on survival instincts from the moment we are born. Ideally, as we mature our survival skills would mature as well and that's often not the case. A behavior that was successful in the past can hurt us in the present and keep us repeating the same self limiting patterns over and over. Everything we do has elements of relationship. Professional, romantic, platonic, familial, athletic, and academic relationships make up our societal existence. By learning how to be in relationship with ourselves we learn how to be in relationship with others.
