I welcome clients who have experienced all types of abuse, losses, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, career and life changes, stress and Trauma. Traumatic events can follow a person throughout their lifespan unless they intentionally focus on healing. I provide EMDR which is a holistic approach to healing trauma and disturbing events in addition to other trauma approaches. Please note: I do not meet with couples or families. LGBTQ+ affirmative.

Dr. Leslie Loubier is a highly skilled and experienced Mindfulness trainer, as well as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, executive and personal coach, university lecturer and key-note speaker. Trained in Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts, Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare, and Society, Dr. Loubier teaches Mindfulness to individuals and groups nationally. She also works with executives, performers, artists, writers and athletes on peak-performance, self-confidence, motivation and self-esteem. Leslie has a regular yoga practice and has practiced Insight Meditation since 1997.

I offer client-centered therapy in Eagle Rock and in Old Town Pasadena. Guiding principles are: that one always remains the expert on one's own life, that people have the internal resources to overcome their "stuck-ness," and that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is the key to encouraging positive change and more meaningful living. While I deal with a wide range of client issues, most of my clients are high-functioning or gifted intellectually and/or artistically. I use Rogerian, Experiential Focusing, Gestault, Attachment Theory, and Existential concepts and methods, working with clients to help them maximize their personal freedom and growth.
