I am a Licensed Professional Counselor whose range of interest includes working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I approach therapy with the goal of identifying patterns in thinking and behavior, in order to help clients alter the negative cycles that have maintained their symptoms. Ultimately, I want to empower my clients by giving them a safe space to freely express their concerns, while also equipping them with the tools to manage their circumstances.
I spent the majority of my graduate studies as a counselor at a university counseling clinic, providing therapy to college students and members of the local community. During this time, I was trained under the supervision of licensed psychologists, primarily in the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-based techniques with clients.
