First and foremost, I view therapy as a collaborative process and seek to build on my client's strengths I am actively involved in the therapeutic process with you, giving feedback and answering questions.
Since I have been in practice for over 25 years, I have had an opportunity to learn and practice many approaches to helping people change and cope with a very broad range of human problems. As a result of my early training, a psychodynamic understanding underlies all of my clinical work.
I also frequently use cognitive behavioral techniques, interpersonal and coaching strategies, Ericksonion hypnosis and EMDR. I'm a registered yoga teacher and have a strong background in community health, which provides you, the client, with an opportunity to benefit from the lens of an integrative, holistic perspective.
