Judith Ierulli specializes in working with adolescent and adult survivors of sexual, physical and emotional trauma. Judith holds a deep knowledge of trauma and abuse and the profound ways it affects survivors and those closest to them throughout the life cycle. Judith provides a safe place for survivors to work through the impact of abuse on one's sense of self, sexual identity, sense of trust and relationships. She provides concrete tools to help survivors manage symptoms, and also works within a mind-body framework. Judith's expertise includes working with Posttraumatic Stress reactions, dissociation and self-harming behaviors.

Relationships in love, family and work shape so much of how we feel. I help people know themselves and what they bring (good and bad) to their relationships, and help build the skills need to form rewarding connections and sort out relationship breakdowns and chronic problems. In addition, I help those who have had tried therapy or medication in the past but have not been helped. I work with individuals and couples by listening carefully and responding thoughtfully, genuinely and respectfully to create positive outcomes and to meet important needs.

Susan Millner uses a variety of evidence-based practices with a specialty in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Susan received advanced training in ACT in 2010 and immediately connected with it on both a personal and professional level. Since then, she has presented at a number of conferences focusing on ACT and provided supervision/consultation to therapists looking to learn the model. In addition to ACT, Susan is trauma sensitive and utilizes and integrative approach that includes CBT, mindfulness, family systems, and a variety of other professional techniques.

If there is sexual trauma as a child then the trust and innocence are lost early. If it is as an adult then the meaning and idea of what you knew trust to be are now shifted. Being in a relationship with sexual trauma history can be a rollercoaster ride filled with unknown twists and turns. I know that the needs and changes may be different for those individuals and their partners. My goal is to work together with my clients to relieve the pressure of the reprogrammed trauma brain.
