Welcome! I am thrilled that you are considering therapy. Therapy is for anyone who is seeking personal growth, resilience for past or current trauma, suffering, and other difficult emotions, and support during the hard bits of life and living. Some of my clients have diagnoses of mood disorders, but most are simply trying to navigate life's challenges. I have particular expertise in working with grief, caregiving, self-identity, and enduring relational themes. Therapy helps my clients feel like they have a partner in their self-work and someone who is always rooting for them.
I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. I have been involved in ongoing training in Relational Gestalt Therapy, primarily at the Pacific Gestalt Institute. I love working with seniors, as well as young adults navigating their cultural, gender, and sexual identities. My therapy style is humanistic and relational.
I offer a safe and judgment-free space, where you will feel deeply cared for. We will work collaboratively and relationally and you will learn to identify your enduring relational themes that get in the way of how you relate to yourself and others in your world.
