I approach therapy with a holistic mindset, helping you explore how past experiences, including trauma, impact your current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we’ll uncover what’s behind your responses to life and work toward a deeper understanding of yourself. With over 23 years of experience I listen to what is being said and what is not being said. Identify areas or situations that have formed their responses to situations and guide them to being honest with themselves first, and with me. Although I'm qualified in many counseling approaches, my focus is always on you and your life journey - not a technique.
I encourage clients to become more self-aware and understand the blueprint of their life. I challenge thinking errors you may believe about yourself, your relationships, and the world. I may suggest simple exercises or journaling between sessions to help you explore new ideas or perspectives, giving you the chance to deepen your self-awareness.
I support client's need to become more insightful about their life. I challenge internalized thoughts which may be binding clients to unhealthy thinking about themselves, their relationships, and the world. Through homework or journaling in certain areas that will allow the client to take a new look at their internal and world view.
