Gary L. Goldberg's Groups
Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of Insomnia
This group will lead participants to stop or significantly reduce all medication and significantly improve their sleep by using a research proven, cognitive behavioral approach. This approach has been endorsed by the National Institutes of Health as the most effective treatment of insomnia.
How to Think Like a Thin Person
This program works with all diets in order to help people to address the emotional issues that have undermined previous attempts to lose weight and keep it off. A proven cognitive behavioral approach will be employed to help people to short circuit the type of thinking that has led to failure in the past.
Stress Management for Health and Longevity
This group identifies the negative impact of stress on health. Cognitive behavioral strategies are employed to lower the level of stress experienced in every day life. Stress management strategies such as relaxation training, guided imagery, meditation, diaphragmatic breathing and self-hypnosis are taught and practiced.
