Greetings! as a professional counselor for over 35 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families struggling with relationship, addiction, and emotional struggles. I am a frequent workshop presenter on individual and couples therapy and have provided counselor training and clinical supervision for over 230 licensed professional counselors in Georgia. I enjoy working with those struggling with a variety of common challenges in life, including relational difficulties, overcoming depression, grief, and addiction issues. I work mostly with adults and couples, but I also see teenagers or entire families.
Counseling is best understood as a collaboration between the individuals, couples and families and myself to determine better ways for relating and solving problems. I utilize an Adlerian, cognitive-behavioral and relationship treatment perspective that best matches the goals that clients have with the strengths and resources available to them.
My availability is Wednesday and Friday afternoon and evenings and Saturday morning and early afternoons. I don't take insurance. I accept only check and cash payments. I can also do a sliding scale for clients who request that and I'm open to answering any questions by phone. All appointments are in person; remaining 6 feet apart at all times.
