NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. I offer decades of rich experience in the fields of counseling, teaching, and other helping professions in Oregon and internationally. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, I specialize in seeing children, teens, and adults over the age of 50, and emphasize honest and compassionate relationships. Together, with my clients, I develops the goals, objectives, and plans focusing on their particular concerns. The client’s unique history, experience, and cultural background are the principle strategic focus for healing somatic (body) and emotional pain.

I offer a holistic and eclectic counseling experience. Sometimes this means blending effective evidenced-based practices, including, for example, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Relief, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) models.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Therapist at Newberg Counseling & Wellness (2018–present); Mental Health Clinician, Marion & Deschutes Counties Health Dept. (2009–2013); Public School Teacher, State of Oregon, Portland, OR (2001–2008); Social Worker / Case Manager, Oregon Dept. of Human Services, Portland OR (1989–2000)

Based Cognitive Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
