I believe therapy is most effective when there’s a genuine connection between the client and therapist. That’s why my first goal is always to build a strong, trusting relationship. From there, we’ll create a plan tailored to your needs and focused on the issues that matter most to you.
You’re always in control of your treatment and choose the challenges you want to work on. Clients and colleagues describe me as down-to-earth and easygoing. I’m fully certified in EMDR through the International Institute and often use it to treat PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, anxiety disorders and address relationship stressors.
I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to assist with trauma processing and emotional clarity. I draw on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Polyvagal-informed techniques to help manage anxiety and panic symptoms. I have a long history of working with individuals who are in complex and difficult relationships who are in need of support.
