Hi, I'm Gano! I've been a therapist since 2019 and have experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and issues. I consider therapy a partnership between my you and I. We are there to work together, both providing our knowledge, point of view, and expertise to work together on your goals. As far as the type of therapy I provide, I am eclectic and draw from various styles and theories of therapy to figure out what best fits for you. There are tons of different kinds of therapy that are all valid, but not every type works for every person. My job is to fit the therapy to you, not to fit you into the therapy.
My clients can expect acceptance and understanding no matter who you are, what you are going through, where you are in life, and what decisions you've made in the past. I will work with you where you are at, with what you want to work on. I am a source of support, education, resources, consultation, and the occasional dad joke or pun.
I chose to become a therapist due to my own background with mental health issues and experiences with discrimination, and I hope to help others in the ways I never got help.
