Life can be overwhelming. Opening up, finding someone to share that struggle with, and learning to move forward can be just as hard. I have helped people struggling with anxiety, depression, self doubt, difficulty with motivation, periods of intense distress, and mood swings or psychotic thoughts partially managed with medication. It brings me joy to join with clients in a partnership and help them find their way during dark times. In therapy, we will cultivate a space where you will feel valued and empowered to find your way. I practice from, above all, a strengths based and person centered lens, and your values will come first.
I have 20 years of experience in community mental health, with 5 of those as a therapist and supervisor. I see clients age 12 and older, and have experience with multiple modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, exposure- and acceptance- based frameworks, and leading a psychosis clinic.
