Hi, I am Rachael Jordan! I have been working in the mental health field since 2010. I have been doing counseling since 2019. I work with a variety of mental health issues. Most of my work is trauma related; however, I work with individuals who are struggling with Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Men's issues, and Sports Performance issues. I have recently started working with couples and children as well. I work to help repair relationships through improving communication and understanding of each other. I work to help all my clients improve their overall functioning in their daily lives.
I am CBT focused in that I work to help understand the root issues to provide the tools and insight to change behaviors for long lasting results. I also utilize Mindfulness based CBT to help people learn how to sit with their emotions instead of avoiding. I am also trained in EMDR and DBT.
It can be challenging asking for help. It takes great strength and courage to tell a stranger that you are needing some support. I enjoy my work in the mental health field as well as working with athletes through their struggles.
