Dr. Keith Louwerse is a West Michigan native, licensed psychologist and founder of Headwaters Counseling. A Hope College alumnus, he earned his doctorate from George Fox School of Clinical Psychology. He worked closely with Dr. Mark McMinn, Ph.D., ABBP, a pioneer of Integrative Psychotherapy. Dr. Louwerse is expertly trained to work with a broad range of clients from an integrative paradigm and has a keen interest for the encounter between spirituality, faith and wellness. He carefully balances the advantages of scientific methodologies, psychological theory and theological factors in therapy; embracing not only matters of cognition, affect and behavior, but also care for the soul.

Sean is a psychotherapist who has been practicing since 1998. He has experience providing psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He is trained in Trauma Model Therapy through the Ross Institute and is also certified in EMDR. Mr. Burns is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He works with his clients to come up with a practical yet comprehensive treatment plan. John Tuttle graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of the Arts degree. John is licensed in the State of Michigan as a clinical mental health counselor. At his most recent placement he diagnosed and treated patients with various disorders and worked with clients desiring help with relationship issues, difficult circumstances, and life stage adjustments. He currently owns and is the primary therapist at Lakeshore Guidance, LLC. John also holds a Master of Education degree from Grand Valley State University and has worked in elementary and middle schools on anti-bullying programs and crisis response intervention.
