My name is Galina, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the States of Illinois and California. I received a MA in Counseling from NEIU in 2006 and a PsyD in Counseling Psychology from California Southern University in 2019. I have had over 16 years of experience working in various mental health settings, including hospitals, partial care, outpatient, and addiction centers, while helping individuals and families with a variety of personal issues ranging from depression, anxiety, stress, family problems, addictions of all kinds, relationships/parenting, to trauma/abuse and more.
My work is dedicated to improving the lives of my clients and helping them on the road to self-awareness and self-acceptance by resolving their personal problems and decreasing their suffering; thus, they have a better chance of having a more enjoyable, healthier, happier, and more productive life.
I have an exceptional background and interest in anxiety and alcohol use disorders which are the topics of my dissertation. I have attended multiple major conferences, workshops, and training programs focused on the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, self-injury, and couples therapy.
