Often time, people begin psychotherapy as a result of feeling disconnected from themselves or the world. When overwhelmed by life, you may notice feeling drained, disconnected, dissatisfied with your relationships, and at times physically unwell. In therapy, I create a safe space to explore past, present, and future struggles and work towards goals in order to live a more insightful, balanced, fulfilled life.
Whether you're curious to better understand yourself, interested in addressing distressing symptoms, or wanting to feel more connected to yourself and others, we can work together towards helping you become more self-aware, present, and better able to cope with life's unending demands.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults in addressing issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and other identity-related life transitions such as relocation, changes in relationships, and professional development. I have trained in both CBT and psychodynamic approaches and my work is deeply rooted in interpersonal theory.
