About
If you are struggling in an important relationship, whether with your partner, child, parent, sibling, or friend, or feel deeply lonely, anxious, sad, or self-doubting, therapy can be an important step towards growth and healing. I think of therapy as an opportunity not only to seek support, but also to build a collaborative working relationship within which a deeper understanding of your hopes and fears enables you to make significant change.
I have been in practice for 38 years, first as a Masters' Level Psychiatric Nurse/Psychotherapist, and for the past 26 years as a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, grief, loss, self-esteem, intimacy and relationship issues. I also work with children, parents, couples, and families.
I have extensive cross-cultural experience and bring to my work a deep respect for the uniqueness and meaningfulness of each individual's ethnic, cultural, and religious values.
