Are you seeking individual or group therapy, a psychological evaluation, career testing, or career coaching? Air-filtrated indoor, telehealth, and outdoor sessions are offered, and most in-network insurance plans accepted. With over 20 years of therapy, testing, teaching, and supervising experience, and as both a clinical psychologist and a school psychologist, Dr. Schrimmer has a uniquely comprehensive practice. Calls generally receive a response by the next business day. In addition to daytime appointments, weekend and evening hours are available.
Your first consultation will lead to a highly personalized treatment plan, possibly including individual therapy or group work, an evaluation for diagnostic clarity, CPT trauma therapy, or comprehensive career testing/coaching. Dr. Schrimmer has researched Autism, the queer community, ecotherapy, patient satisfaction variables, and group psychotherapy.
Dr. Schrimmer received her BA, MA, and PhD from Boston College, Tufts, and Adelphi. NJ Psychologist recently published her Ecotherapy qualitative research, and in 2022 she was invited by Division 49 (Group Psychotherapy) to present at the national APA convention. She is currently on faculty at Rutgers, supervising doctoral students in therapy and testing.
