Being a young adult, whether you are in your teens, 20s or 30s, is challenging. You are supposed to figure out who you are, what you want to do with your life and navigate relationships with friends, family, significant others... all while managing everyday stressors. These are often overwhelming and lonely tasks to accomplish. I empathize with the challenges young adulthood brings and I am here to help. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment to explore what is going on, in addition to helping you develop the skills needed to create the changes you are seeking.

I am not a therapist who will simply smile and nod and ask how things are making you feel. I am in it with you and will work just as hard as you. While therapy is a space for self-care, it is also a place for growth.

I earned my Master's degree in counseling psychology from Northwestern University. I work from a psychodynamic viewpoint, and incorporate CBT, DBT, Sensorimotor and Mindfulness into my practice. I am a CDWF, certified in Dr. Brené Brown's work. Additionally, I am both a trained artist and athlete.

Gail Reich's Groups

female adolescent group

This group is meant to support female adolescents in their journey to develop their identities and build their self-esteem. The shared stories and empathy from others who are having similar experiences can be insightful and empowering. This group creates a safe, confidential space to discuss and receive feedback on the trials and tribulations that come along with the process of adolescence. In addition, the group provides coping skills and valuable educational information that can be used to get through the challenges attached to entering adulthood.
