With a focus on family of origin exploration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I promote developmental growth in individuals, couples and families in areas of communication, conflict resolution, relational skills, grief/loss, and recovery from trauma.
As a professional member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, I believe Family Systems Theory provides a comprehensive approach to one’s healing journey. I trained as a drug and alcohol counselor, and hold certificates in Coaching for Clergy and the Prepare/Enrich Assessment for pre-marital counseling.
In addition to being a marriage and family therapist I have served as a chaplain for the past 20 years in a level-1 trauma center, and as a pastor for 12, and have had the opportunity to walk with and guide individuals, couples, and families through trauma, grief/loss, and their darkest, most challenging times to a place of peace and resolve.
