With over 25 years of experience in community mental health and emergency psychiatric care, I bring a grounded, compassionate approach to therapy. I’ve worked extensively with adults navigating serious mental illness (SMI), trauma, substance use, mood disorders, and self-harm.
My style is collaborative and supportive, and I tailor treatment to meet you where you are. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and incorporate mindfulness and meditation practices when appropriate.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a spouse and parent of three adult children. I understand the complexity of family systems and life transitions — and how important it is to have a grounded, supportive space to explore emotional wellbeing.
