I am a psychotherapist specializing in Holistic trauma-focused treatments for adults, and couples. I believe that most people who walk into the therapist's office have difficulties that are rooted in trauma. Most traumatic experiences happen in the context of a relationship and can also be healed in the context of a safe therapeutic relationship.
Whether we are struggling with substance abuse, difficulty in intimate relationships, debilitating self doubt, or confusing somatic feelings, when we deal with and heal our traumatic wounds we began to see the world through a new set of eyes. We begin to experience our body, mind, and spirit in a completely different way. Holistic health is the approach.
I am also an EMDR therapist, specializing in working with couples that have experienced childhood trauma. Often times, couples that have early childhood trauma ‘reenact’ their lived experiences and unprocessed feelings in the dynamic. I can help you and your partner sort through these complex dynamics with a holistic trauma informed approach.
