Sometimes our lives are shaped around early trauma or loss the way a tree will grow around a rock or a pole. Our beliefs about ourselves, our behaviors, our relationship patterns, our emotional habits- are all shaped around and layered of top of those early experiences.
So often the coping mechanisms we develop to survive as children don't serve us well as adults. I would love to help you identify those early experiences that might be keeping you stuck or defined in a way that is painful or unhelpful and help you work through them more fully.
