Deciding to enter therapy is a difficult decision. Seeking resolution to transitions and challenges that one faces daily can be scary. Sometimes we grow comfortable in the pain. And the pain serves as a great excuse for remaining stagnant. Growth and awareness can feel uncomfortable at times. But growing can also be freeing. In our journey, life is about making small steps, learning the lessons of our past and having a willingness to acknowledge our resilience. Which can result in change or maybe not. But it is freeing to know that one always have the options It’s is freeing to know ones truth about themself .
As a therapist for individuals that had sustained an emotional or medical trauma, therapy with them involved encouraging them to want to recover from these challenges and have the desire to start over in their lives. But any recovery from a job or relationship loss, is about wanting better or wanting more and having support . I will be that support
Honesty, transparency and non judgmental support is what you will receive in our setting. Therapy is about your decision to have an honest relationship with yourself . You will learn to forgive yourself for past choices and develop the bravery of wanting something better in the future. Together and with support I will offer assistance and encouragement
