Having the willingness to bring yourself into the counseling room and sharing your deepest hurts with a stranger can be extremely difficult. Coming in with the openness and desire to get better without knowing how it is all going to work takes a lot of courage. A desire to get better is where it starts, the next step is showing up and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. I know it's scary, but you won't be walking this road alone. My job is to stand alongside you and help guide the steps to healing.
I am EMDR Certified and I have six years experience working with people who have gone through trauma. EMDR therapy is my main specialty, but I also work with adolescents and adults who are struggling with addiction, life transitions, relationship issues, and a multitude of other concerns.
My biggest desire is to create a safe place for you to come as you are. It is hard to find a counselor you feel comfortable with, and you feel will relate to you. I can assure you that I will not pretend to know all the answers because I don't, but I will do my best to help you get to the place of healing you have always wanted.
