I help individuals build fulfilling relationships – with themselves and with others. In order to connect with others we must first have a solid connection to our own self. In order to have a solid sense of self we need to build internal awareness and find language to understand our experiences. When we can communicate about our experiences, we find meaning, purpose, and connection – all factors essential for well-being and overall life quality. From a trauma-informed, relational perspective, I will help you explore the past as well as the present so that you can get the most out of your future.
I have served in various settings including substance abuse treatment programs, community mental health centers, schools, and private group practice. Prior to my clinical training, I worked in the reproductive justice field on national policy efforts. Equitable healthcare and bodily autonomy continue to be tenets of my work.
It is my goal to show up as an actively anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-oppression, LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, and HAES (healthy at every size) supporting practitioner.
