I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) of Puerto Rican descent, and I am a passionate advocate for marginalized populations, including people of color and those within the LGBTQ+ community. I find great fulfillment in working with both adolescents and adults, helping them navigate through life's challenges in a way that makes them feel understood, supported, and empowered. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, women’s issues, and self-esteem. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Rider University and my Master's degree in Social Work at Rutgers University.
In my practice, I use an evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s individual needs, ensuring that the treatment process is effective and client-centered. I incorporate a range of treatment modalities, including mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices (TIF).
My therapeutic approach is rooted in building a strong, trusting relationship with my clients, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout our work together. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help individuals become the best versions of themselves, whatever that may look like for them. I look forward to helping you achieve your therapeutic goals.
