Hello! I am a queer and multi-ethnic therapist. I specialize in working with Indigenous and Chicanx children and adults with the following identities or life experiences: highly sensitive people (HSP), queer, neurodivergent and histories with complex trauma. I work best with those who want to heal inner child wounds and who crave deeper healing for themselves, their families and communities. I speak Spanish conversationally.
My ideal client has an understanding that therapy is a reciprocal space and process, where there is much to be learned from both sides.
I am trained and certified in EMDR. I am also trained in FOCUS (Families OverComing Under Stress) and have my certification as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I offer ways to increase the mind/body connection, build awareness of triggers and stuck points, express needs and learn new ways to build connection with yourself and others.
My maternal lineage is of Pueblo and Spanish descent. My paternal lineage is of Filipino and Irish descent. I bring my lived experience as well as deep respect for others traditional cultural practices when I work with clients. I aim to offer culturally affirming care.
